CertaMed was founded in 2006 by a seasoned physical therapist. Since its foundation CertaMed has built a reputation of excellence and efficiency through a combination of our energetic and knowledgeable in-home staff, our caring and professional clinicians in the field, our commitment to strict policies and procedures and our use of a sophisticated software product (Pariox©).
CertaMed has experienced steady growth and has moved into a larger office in Longwood, FL.

Jon Claessens, PT

Jon is the founder and owner of CertaMed Medical Staffing. He is a Physical Therapist, licensed in FL and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association—Home Health Section. He serves on the Advisory Board of Home Health Agencies. Jon has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, hospital and rehab facilities but his passion is home health care. He feels that the home is where most patients have the biggest need for professional guidance and where therapists can make a bigger difference.

Lory Heffner

Lory is the Office Manager. With years of home health experience, great knowledge of the industry and a sharp business-mind, Lory excels in managing our entire operation.

Mary Shellard

Mary is the Lead Staffing Coordinator. She excels at ensuring that every patient, home health agency and therapist receives top notch services!
